Join us for July Happy Hour - July 14, 5:00 - ? at Putney's Sports Bar, 6090 N. Oracle Road. We are inside this time. Putney's happy hour is 4-7 and the Wednesday special is 8 bone-in or boneless wings for $5 from 4-9.


The Desert Sharks gather once a month, on the second Wednesday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (or thereabouts).

Join us for good food, good drinks, good friends, and great music! At each Happy Hour, members and guests meet and greet, are informed of any club announcements, and participate in a 50/50 raffle!

3rd Annual Cheeseburger in Paradise Party

Saturday, June 26, 2021

Nice turnout for the party, 35(ish) sharks swam, drank, ate, purchased raffle tickets and participated in the Silent Auction. So many great raffle prizes and auction items. A total of $872 was raised for Emerge! and Tucson Wildlife Rescue. The board voted to raise the club's total donation to $1000. Many thanks to Dori & Geary, Maggie & Jeff and Kim & Lloyd for a fabulous event.

Trying to Reason with Monsoon Season

Saturday, August 14, 4:00 p.m. Hosted by Jeff & Maggie and Dori & Geary.  


Music provided by DESERT ISLAND BAND.


BBQ pork & chicken. Margaritas provided or BYOB. Please bring a side/dessert to share. Also chairs if you want.


Raffle to benefit the Pima County Animal Control Center.

The 21st Annual Parrot Grande dates have been announced and registration is open. Those members who have attended will tell you that it is an event not to be missed. Three days of fun, sun and music with your fellow Parrot Heads. What more could you ask for? And always it is a Party with a Purpose. This year the charity is the Disabled American Veterans. Party at the End of the World

After a challenging year for the world, it's time we Parrot Heads get "Back On Our Phins Again" and resume partying with a purpose! Parrot Heads have responded with an enthusiastic "Count us in!" as the pace of registration signals that Parrot Head Nation is eager to make up for lost time and catch up on some live music and some hugs and quality time with friends in paradise.

Here's just a few of the things that will set this year's MOTM apart:

• Five days of music, from Wednesday afternoon to Sunday afternoon totaling more than 50 hours!

• A one-of-a-kind Parrot Head celebration of Jimmy's 75th Trip Around the Sun

• Three days of a sampling of the best songwriters in the business in a listening atmosphere with Kelly McGuire's Lighthouse Songwriter Showcase on the Pier Stage

• Venus is Rising in Key West! Great female performers, including headliners Caroline Jones, Anuhea and Coral Reefer Nadirah Shakoor take center stage at MOTM21, along with an opening night party with Coley McCabe's All-Female Showcase Girls Just Wanna Have Rum!

• A Lucky Sunday Brunch served up in four hours on on 11-7-21 on the Pier Stage capped by The Godfather of Trop Rock Jerry Diaz & Hanna's Reef


Chef for a Day 2021

Ronald McDonald House is not currently scheduling meals. Following is information from their website. If you do contribute, please email the amount to Kim. We are allowed to count those donations toward Club donations.

To help RMDH - 


"At this time, we are modifying the Chef for a Day program. If you wish to provide meals for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, we ask that you donate gift cards to restaurants for our families to use. Gift cards of any amounts are appreciated. You can mail gift cards to our address or drop them off at the House. No visitors will be allowed into the Ronald McDonald House itself, but the manager on duty will help you to accept your donation. If you have questions, you can reach the house at 520-326-0060."

Bike Trail Cleanup

Our new meeting place is the empty lot on the left just south of the bridge on Dodge Road. 


We have a socially distanced tailgate gathering after clean-up. Please BYO everything - chairs, beverages, food.
